Safety First Equestrian offers a 2nd hand Equestro Safety Vest "trade in" or buy back service.

For those clients who have outgrown their safety vests, Safety First Equestrian will buy your vest back from you for resale and/or part payment towards a new, bigger vest.

Prices paid for the vests will be dependent on the condition of the vest and stock is dependent on availability.

Safety First Equestrian reserves the right to decline/refuse to trade-in/resell a vest if they feel that the vest is not in a suitable condition to provide the level of protection deemed fit.

Safety First Equestrian shall have no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused, in whole or in part, by its actions, omissions, or negligence, or any contingencies beyond its control in this regard.

CE EN 1621-2 - Level 2 – MOTORCYCLE back protector safety standard

A back protector does not give the same protection as a body protector as it is tested in fewer accident scenarios, however some riders choose to wear a lighter back protector rather than nothing at all.

Unlike other certification marks, the CE mark is simply a design test that allows items to be sold in Europe.

The back protector has been designed by Zandona for riders not wearing a full body protector and who prefer a lighter alternative.

Not intended or authorised for cross-country riding. This product only protects the back and does not offer protection to ribs or against severe torsion, flexion, or extension or crushing of the body.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• When not being used store your vest flat or hanging up in a ventilated area & avoid direct sunlight – allow the vest to “breathe”
• When transporting your vest, DO NOT place heavy objects on top of the vest as the heavy object will sink into the EVC padding which could damage the padding and therefore negatively impact the safety efficacy of your vest.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• REMOVE the padding gently from the jacket of the vest by bending the padding SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY
• DO NOT TWIST OR BEND THE PADDING EXCESSIVELY AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE PADDING
• Once the padding is removed from the jacket of the vest - Remove dirt with a damp cloth and if necessary HAND WASH in cold water (MAX 30°C) with a mild soap
• DO NOT WASH under running water.
• DO NOT use solvents or chemicals.
• Allow the jacket of the vest to dry but do not expose it to direct sunlight.
• Once dry slowly insert the padding back into the jacket of the vest making sure that the widest layer of EVC padding is against your back with the narrower layers being towards the outside.
